We’re a husband-and-wife duo from Punjab, India—now calling Kuala Lumpur home for the past three years. As passionate food lovers and proud Punjabis, food is not just sustenance for us—it’s an emotion, a way of life. Growing up in northern India, we developed a deep appreciation for authentic Indian flavors, especially the kind you can only get when every spice is balanced just right, and every dish is made with care.

When we moved to KL, we searched high and low for the food we grew up loving. But we often found that something was missing—particularly in the biryanis, butter chicken, chilli chicken, chicken tikka rolls and the list goes on. The soul of true Indian cuisine just wasn’t there.

So, we decided to bring that soul here ourselves. That’s how The Biryani Company was born—with a mission to introduce Malaysians to the real, authentic taste of Indian cuisine, starting with our biggest passion: biryani.

Biryani, to us, is more than just a dish. It’s a celebration of culture, a labor of love, and an art form that must be done right. We are starting with Lucknowi Dum Biryani—a royal style of biryani known for its refined flavors, slow-cooked precision, and aromatic richness. Each biryani is crafted with marinated meats, fragrant basmati rice, hand-blended spices, and then sealed and cooked to perfection using the traditional dum method.

​But we didn’t stop there. To offer an experience like no other, we serve our biryanis piping hot in handmade clay pots (handis) imported directly from India—bringing not just the taste, but the tradition, to your table. Every handi that leaves our kitchen is handcrafted with passion, authenticity, and attention to detail. We guarantee 100% real Indian flavors—because anything less just isn’t good enough for us, or for you.
